MIKE HOLLETT

Mike is the former Chairman of the Western Australian Water Corporation having earlier lead significant water reform initiatives in both the public and private sectors. 

 

As a Hydrographer, Mike has almost 40 years of experience across the water and property sectors combined and continues his passionate drive for challenging the status quo and finding a better more sustainable way of delivering outcomes that matter. 

 

Mike now serves on private boards being Chairman of Yurra Pty Ltd a majority Aboriginal owned contracting company he co-founded in 2013 and has private interests in infrastructure and property businesses in regional WA. Mike is a GAICD.

GREG MILLEN

Greg brings more than 30 years’ experience in engineering and project delivery across mining, energy, renewables, water, agriculture, and industrial infrastructure, with deep technical expertise, commercial insight, and a strong industry reputation for innovation and leadership.

 

Greg holds an Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Western Australia and is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), Fellow (FIEAust), and Engineering Executive (EngExec) with Engineers Australia. He is also a member of Consult Australia, AusIMM, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

Yindjibarndi Water

Yindjibarndi Water is a First Nations-owned water utility, established in 2021 through a joint venture between Yindjibarndi Wealth Pty Ltd (majority owner) and The Right Water Company (minority shareholder).

 

Yindjibarndi Water focuses on managing and utilising natural surface and groundwater resources across Yindjibarndi Country to deliver sustainable water services for both community and commercial purposes. The company’s 3C vision is focused on strengthening Community, Culture, and Commercial rights, and supporting broader self-determination and nation-building outcomes for the Yindjibarndi Nation.

 

Drawing from thousands of years of traditional water stewardship, combined with modern water management practices, Yindjibarndi Water is dedicated to protecting Country, developing water infrastructure, leading water monitoring and management initiatives, and building long-term commercial assets.

 

The Right Water Company is proud to support Yindjibarndi Water by contributing strategic and technical expertise across the full water cycle, including water supply, wastewater recycling, water treatment, asset delivery, and green energy solutions. Yamatji Water

Yamatji Water is a majority-owned Yamatji Nation business, created for and on behalf of the Yamatji people.

 

Yamatji Economic Limited (YEL), the commercial arm of the Yamatji Southern Regional Corporation (YSRC), has formed a joint venture with The Right Water Company Pty Ltd, who is a minority shareholder. The Right Water Company supports Yamatji Water through its strategic and technical water industry expertise.

 

Yamatji Water is well placed to lead transformational change for First Nations people in Australia’s water industry, having a permanent water allocation through the Strategic Aboriginal Water Reserve. Yamatji Water is developing expertise both strategically in water resource knowledge and through its on-country water monitoring teams, ensuring that water management maintains healthy Country, preserves culturally significant sites, and balances the need for responsible water use as an economic enabler.

 

The Right Water Company fully supports and shares Yamatji Water’s cultural understanding and values, working under the same five key pillars:

  • Protect and preserve groundwater sources for cultural heritage sites.
  • Lead water monitoring to develop water planning and management expertise on Country.
