Our Story
The Right Water Company was born from a successful consulting partnership and a shared realisation that Australia’s water industry must rapidly evolve to address climate change and meet the ESG commitments of businesses, shareholders, and the wider community. Regulatory compliance alone is no longer enough—real transformation is needed, and The Right Water Company is committed to leading that change.
Our Founding Directors, Mike Hollett and Greg Millen, bring decades of leadership and expertise across water, infrastructure, and resource sectors. Mike, former Chairman of Water Corporation WA, has 40 years of experience driving major reforms in public and private sectors. He is Chairman of Yurra Pty Ltd, a majority Aboriginal-owned contracting company, and holds private interests in infrastructure and property businesses in regional WA. Greg has over 30 years of global experience in engineering and project delivery across Mining, Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Renewables, Power, and Water. A Chartered Engineer (CPEng) and Fellow of Engineers Australia (FIEAust), he has led Wave International’s expansion into a global consultancy.

Goverance
The Right Water Company is committed to strong governance, ensuring transparency, accountability, and ethical decision-making in every aspect of our operations. We adhere to the highest industry standards and regulatory requirements, embedding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into our business practices. Our approach prioritises responsible water management, sustainability, and long-term value creation for our partners, clients, and the communities we serve.
A key part of our governance framework is our dedication to respectful and inclusive partnerships, particularly with First Nations communities. Through our joint venture partnerships in the Pilbara and Mid-West regions, we actively support Indigenous water entitlements and economic participation. By fostering collaboration and maintaining rigorous oversight, we ensure that our projects align with both business objectives and the broader responsibility of water stewardship in Australia.
